When your Business is Online
Who Can you Trust to Host your Website?

Nicole Dean Knows Web Hosting!

I'm Nicole Dean of ShowMomtheMoney.com. I've been working online for several years, building a business -- with 70 websites to my name.

You can imagine over the course of a few years I've dealt with a lot of hosting companies.

Unfortunately, many hosting companies STINK!

I've dealt with downtime. My sites have been down as much as an entire day, losing me a day's worth of pay.

I've lost weeks of work when a host *thought* they had been backing up my site, but -- OOPS! When I needed to restore my site, I found out there were no backups

One host promised that they renewed my domain, but actually DIDN'T.  When I went to my website, there was a notice that said "FOR SALE"!  Luckily I was able to buy my website before someone else did.

I call that "Web Hosting Hell."

Many times I've wanted to drive to the host company's support offices and throttle someone.

I don't want you to go through that same panic and frustration.

I've finally found a web host that I can recommend!

In case you're curious, it isn't my own company  (I've got my own business. I don't need to add hosting as a hobby.)  ;)

The company I recommend has all the criteria I need -- excellent support, reliability great uptime, and low price.

I understand your confusion

You may be confused by all the hosting company options. Everywhere you look, you can find hosting. There are more hosting options available every day!

You may not have time to research and stumble, trying to find the best hosting company for your business -- or worse, choose the wrong one and have it negatively impact your business.

Unfortunately, I've found that some of the most popular hosting companies fall short on what a work at home mom NEEDS for her website. (Not WANTS, but NEEDS.)

Here are some questions to ask before choosing any web host:

1. Will you get support?

You want a hosting company with quick and friendly support. A service that doesn't act like you just asked a stupid question. However, if you are very technical they need to get right to the point and give you a technical answer.

I'd only recommend a hosting company with friendly and knowledgeable support. I've been talked down to enough and bounced around by crummy hosts to never deal with that again.

2. Will your site be down?

Any hosting you choose must have a history of superior uptime.

I'd only recommend a hosting company with superior uptime. I know that gut-wrenching feeling when you go to your website and it's down.

3. Is this a hobby or a business for the people handling your hosting?

You need to find hosting where you'll get experience - a company with several layers of support and backup systems to insure that you and your web sites are always taken care of. Not someone who thought it would be "fun" to start a hosting company.

I'd only recommend a hosting company run by professionals. I'm not running a hobby business, so I'm not going to hire someone to host my sites who is running their hosting as a hobby.

4. What kinds of stats will you get?

You may not realize it yet, but you need stats. How can you possibly know what is and is not working on your website if you can't look to see how people are finding you in your stats?

I was flabbergasted to discover that one of the biggest hosting companies available does not offer the statistics I needed. I'd only recommend a hosting company with excellent stats that show you which search engines are sending you traffic and which keywords people are using to find you.

5. Is it affordable?

Of course, you want an affordable web host. Let's be serious, here. Why pay more if you don't have to?

I personally use this service. I wouldn't pay extra, either!

6. What about the extras?

What if you want to add a forum or a blog down the road. Does the hosting make it easy?

What if you need help getting your site moved? You'll want a host that can do that for you.

Yes, and yes.

So Who Do I Recommend?

Don't choose the wrong hosting company and live to regret it. Start off with a hosting company that will grow with you -- and will treat you like a valued customer every step of the way.

The hosting company I recommend offers everything listed above and more.

The hosting company I recommend

I wish you the best in your online business,

    The more, the merrier!
